Clinton or Obama?

US is gripped with the election fever. The road to Whitehouse 2008 is wide open. Among the democrats, Hilary Clinton and Barak Obama are locked to get nominations. I think Hilary should get chance not just because she's women. But she got experience and skills. Obama is charismatic but he lacks experience. Who woule be better choice of Democrats?

Not just a hype

I think the US presidential election is a very important event coz the outcome of the election will choose the next leader of the free world so as to speak. So i think it is important although i do agree that certain media has given it a wee more importance.

Also the people are so caught up in this obama clinton showdown that they have completely forgotten about the republican candidate senetor John McCain. He has way more experience than both clinton and obama combined plus he is a former prisoner of war and a war hero.He is the only US polititian i know who has taken a tough stand against issues like prisoner torture. but he may be facing a lot of pressure from his party. So who knows.

But one thing is sure this election will be really interesting to watch. And it will probably get more dirtier as we move on.

Unnecessary hype in international media

I feel that the media coverage of US election(primary election) is unnecessary in the present context of the worlds other major issues. Why does the international media cover such "unnecessary at this present context" issue when one needs to be focusing on other major issues like Bird flue, Sri Lanka crisis, Darfur crisis, etc.

Why..why.. why.why.why??
