Police today arrested more than 100 Tibetan refugees and monks in front
of the Chinese embassy visa office while they were staging
demonstrations. Police tried to push them away from the office but when
the protesters did not relent, they were arrested. The refugees
demonstrating in Kathmandu were demanding that the UN investigate the
recent crackdown in Tibet by Chinese authorities. It was the first time
that the Tibetans in Nepal have protested in front of the Chinese visa
office.

Our very own government and it's partners came to power through protest demanding democracy. SO how this government could quell the protest for democracy and freedom in tibet? DOn't they feel shame? Either it's Maoists or other parties, they all have fought for one or other form of freedom and democracy. Why this double standard? When it comes to them, its democracy but when other attempts, it's named other way?
